Our New Routine

We spent our second weekend at the ball park. And when I say weekend I mean Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Between games, pictures, and makeup games we were able to spend alot of time outside in the nice spring wheather. What was not so great was the diet of burgers, chips, hotdogs, and coke! Just in time for bathing suit season. Awesome! I hope you won't get tired of seeing the kids in their uniforms because that'll about all you'll get in the next two months (I will make sure to throw in a little Easter somehow).

Brayden and Thompson played their first softball and tball games today! I am appreciating my parents support and dedication more each day as I experience just a fraction of what they did for me and my sisters when we ALL played sports at the same time. It is definitely keeping us busy! Heath and I had to divide and conquer today taking each of them to their games occurring at the same time. Brayden and I rushed over to see the last 5 minutes of Thompson's game. This is what it's all about though, right? They are loving it and that's all that matters. We are looking forward to what the rest of the season brings.

Where have we been?

Here are just a few shots from December. I have gotten so caught up in the whole facebook thing that I neglected my blog (I never thought I would say that last sentence). We spent some time in Charlotte with family and friends and then back to Marietta for Christmas with more family and friends. Now it is back to work and school. But that too shall pass and summer will come around again. Unless all of this "CHANGE" means no summer vacation! Talk to you sooner than later!

Brayden has started cheering for the East Cobb Vikings this season. She is absolutely loving it. I think any chance of a basketball or softball player is out the window. Oh well. You can't win them all.

So it has been quite a while since my last post (almost a year, but whose counting). Things have been good just busy with Brayden starting kindergarten and Thompson, well just being Thompson! I'll catch you up with a few pictures at a time.

A friend showed me this cool site. Her kids showed a definate resemblance to either her or her husband so I thought I would try it. Brayden and Thompson seem to look just like both of us. Not the answer I was expecting. Someone else has to try this so I can see if mine was just a fluke.

Halloween was a blast! We went to a neighborhood party and then hit the streets for some goodies. Brayden was Sharpay from High School Musical and Thompson was Thomas the Train. Too cute!

Pumpkin Patch

Brayden and Thompson have been begging to go to the pumpkin patch and we finally made it. They picked out a big one and now comes the job of carving it. I am sure there will be pictures to come.

Like most kids, ours love Chuckie Cheese and so we bite the bullet and make it a tradition to go on their birthdays. Brayden officially turned 5 on October 24th and we partied the night away at the big Cheese!

GEORGIA VS. FLORIDA

They did it and we were there! Heath and I spent the weekend with friends in St. Simons and headed over to Jacksonville for the game. Despite the rainy tailgate, we were in good spirits as we hiked over to the stadium for another Georgia/Florida game. It turned out to be not just another game but a WIN! Finally! Heath's excitement might last until Christmas.

We celebrated Brayden's Birthday on Saturday at Club Libby Lu! The girls had so much fun dressing up, getting their hair, makeup, and nails done, and putting on a final show for the audience. It's hard to believe its been five years!

OK. So it's been about 6 months since my last post. Seeing my sister's and a friends blog has gotten me motivated again. If I can just figure out how to upload pictures, I will be set.

A little update... All is well at the Broadway home. I am preparing for Brayden's 5th birthday at Libby Lu. If you are unfamiliear with it, it is a place where the girls will get made up with fun hair, makeup, and nails. I will have to figure the picture thing out by then. Thompson is still the same cute and FUNNY Thompson. I swear, if I could, I would make it so he stayed 2 1/2 forever! But I think I have said that with both kids at each age they reach. Heath is good and consumed with college football (what else is there?). I am busy with work, but enjoying this group of kids and teachers that I work with.

I can't promise, but I will try to keep everyone updated and add some pictures for fun! Until next time... Court

Just Trucking!

We are just moving along here in good old Marietta. The inside of the house just got painted. I was ready for some change. Now I am getting things ready for Thompsie's party on Saturday (I sent you an invite just for fun). I am doing a vehicle theme. I will have to figure out how to send pictures on this thing because the party decorations are going to be too cute. I am being all crafty (like I can get once in a blue moon). I have make stop lights with his pictures on them, street signs with his name, and some other fun road signs to hang up around the house.

Things are good here. Brayden is now taking dance class through her school (tap and ballet). She loves it. We also signed her up for soccer again. She swears she wants to play and will actually go out on the field willingly this year. We shall see. She had a field trip to the post office tuesday. It seems that the most exciting part was the bus ride! She mailed us a valentine letter. Too cute! It made me cry.

Thompson just moved up to the next room at school this week. He screamed bloddy murder the first three days but did good this morning. I don't think he understands the birthday thing yet , but he can tell you how old he will be if you ask him. Too cute!

I guess you know grandma is coming in town today with mom. It will be nice to see her and have her spend some time with the kids. I have Monday off and am keeping them out of school so we can hang with her and mom (and maybe evan, bennett, and heather).

It makes me sad to read your emails. I know what its like to feel in a funk. It just sucks that your expieriencing it so far away. You must be doing a lot of growing during this period of time. I always seem to when I am in a funk. Smile . Think happy thoughts. We miss you and love you.

1st Annual Broadway Cookie Bake

Hey Aunt Shelly! Well, the Cookie Party was a hit! Braley and Ansley came over and we had so much fun cutting out and decorating cookies. Not the best tasting sugar cookies you've ever had, but its the memories that count, right? I'll save one for you, just don't blame my mommy if you crack a tooth!
Nana and Papa came over last night so mommy and daddy could have a night out. They were doing a bunch of shopping or something. They keep asking me what I want from Santa. I am keeping them on their toes by changing my mind constantly. Sometimes I think I want a guitar and then today I told mommy a saxophone. I hope Santa gets it right. Well, we miss you and can't wait to see you for Christmas. Thompsie, Mommy, and Daddy say hi!

The First Update!

Well, the Broadway family is fighting the sickness. Not one sickness, but two or three. Thompsie started out with a cold that kept him home for a day. Then Me, Heath, and Brayden were home the next day with colds. Heath's turned out to be PINK EYE! I continued my sick leave on Wednesday, this time by myself. I returned Thursday only to take off Friday for Thompsies stomach bug! Oh, not done yet. I then had to take myself on Saturday to a doc in the box for what turns out to be a sinus infection. After all of that , we are finally on the road to recovery. I need to get better by next Thursday because Heath and I our on our way to New York! Our first vacation (alone) since our honeymoon. We are so excited.
I am prepping for a cookie party for Brayden and two of her friends on Saturday at our house. It should be fun. If I can figure this blog thing out , I will post a picture for you. I miss you and hope I can keep up with you through our blogs. It is especially for you. Don't you feel special.
You'll have to give me some tips since I really don't know what I am doing. I love you! Have a blessed day!

My little sister has opened me up to this whole new blog thing. Thanks Shell! This will be my new way of keeping her up to date with the happenings here in the states.
